The Ralph Civil Rights Act forbids acts of violence or threats of violence because of a person’s actual or perceived race, religion, primary language, citizenship, immigration status, mental or physical disability, sex, gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, political affiliation, and/or position in a labor dispute. Civil Code Sections 51.7
The Ralph Act provides for:

Civil Penalty of $25,000

The Tom Bane Civil Rights Act protects individuals from those who intentionally interfered with or attempted to interfere with one’s constitutional rights or the law by threats, intimidation, or coercion. Civil Code Section 52.1
The Bane Act provides for:
